What is the difference between 2D or 3D? It has to do with how the pieces are molded to fit on the various types of dash surfaces. 2D and 3D styles both look great, certainly better than stock dashes. And if the surface is mostly flat upon which the dash
piece is applied, it would be difficult to tell the difference between 2D and 3D.

However if there are a lot of non-flat surfaces and curves to the surface,then the 3D style will look more like factory as opposed to an after market add-on.
